The Traveler’s Tote

Rose recently completed this handy traveler’s tote using a trio of batiks from Island Batiks.  She made hers in the “Laguna” colorway, a beautiful combination of blue & green.

The beauty of this pattern is that it’s simple design allows exquisite batik fabrics to blossom.  I’m certain that many of you have a stack of lovely batiks in your “stash” (1 yard outer fabric, 1 yard lining fabric, 1/2 yard of accent fabric for handles & closure).  If you’d like to use your own fabrics, the accessory packet is a perfect choice for you.
